Isabel was born in Melbourne Australia. Her dad is Australian and her mother is Swiss. Her family lived within Switzerland Melbourne Jabiru, a tiny town located in the Northern Territory called Cairns and Cairns Australia. Along with the sister Nina she went to schools that included First Nations children as well as children from other cultures. Isabel lives in Byron Bay, NSW Australia. Isabel started acting at the age of 12. After graduating from the Queensland University of Technology she continued her studies in drama at the Victorian College of Arts. She also recently completed a PEM Method class (Perdekamp Emotional Method) study. Her auditions were not for parts until the agent found herself in the year 2002. She was a part-time auditioner for Home and Away (1988). They felt that she wasn't right for the part but were sufficiently impressed and created a new role for her Tasha. Isabel played for three years in her first television role and was awarded a Logie Award (for new popular talents) for her performance. Isabel relocated in 2008 to Los Angeles. The role that made her famous was her appearance as a character in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009). Since then her debut, she's appeared and won awards in numerous US productions, as well as Australian ones. Isabel has recently starred on the screen in Bosh & Rockit, a film which is quickly becoming a classic in Australia. In addition, she was a part of the upcoming thriller Lunacy. Isabel recently completed Sons of Summer, and she's in the process of pre-production on the role of Marie Curie for Radiant. The film is directed by award-winning Annika Glac.
